A pair of antique 7-inch porcelain dessert plates produced by Thomas Porzellanfabrik (later acquired by Rosenthal), one of the most distinguished early-20th-century Bavarian porcelain manufactories. The underside bears the green "Thomas Bavaria" shield mark in use from approximately 1908 to 1939, placing these in the late Edwardian to early Art Deco transitional period.
Each plate is decorated with a wide emerald green band edged in gold, framed by a delicate cream border featuring hand-decorated floral garlands in pink, blue, and coral. The outer rim carries a scalloped blue lattice and a refined gilt edge. A central gilt rosette completes the composition. The decoration combines Art Nouveau botanical detailing with Edwardian formality — a style favored by European dining rooms of the period.
Two plates included. Suitable as dessert or salad plates, or displayed as cabinet pieces.
