Vintage Southwestern stud earrings in the Navajo style, each set with an oval turquoise cabochon framed by a hand-stamped sterling silver sunburst border.
The radiating scalloped border with stamped dot work reflects the classic Southwestern silversmithing vocabulary developed by Navajo and Pueblo artisans, where the bezel-set center stone is surrounded by repoussé and stamp-decorated silver to create a concho-like halo.
Both earrings are marked STERLING on the reverse. No maker's hallmark or artist signature is present, so they are listed as Navajo Style rather than attributed to a named smith.
Approximate face measurement: oval studs roughly 0.6 inches across (please see ruler photo). Post-and-butterfly backs. Combined weight 2.92 grams.
Condition: expected light surface wear consistent with age, see photos. The turquoise is a clean, even blue cabochon (natural or stabilized, see photos); natural patina on the silver is character and can be polished if preferred, not a defect.
Sourced in person from a Pacific Northwest estate. Curated by SWCurated. Each pair ships double-boxed in a padded jewelry box with 1–2 business day handling. Questions are welcome before purchase.
