CONDITION:
Excellent vintage condition on the front. Cloisonné enamel is
bright and unmarred — no chips, fading, scratches, or losses.
The reverse shows some light gold-plate wear (normal for 1980s
gold-plate, and only visible from the back). French ear wires
and rubber stoppers are in working order.

ABOUT LAUREL BURCH:
Laurel Burch began making jewelry from scrap metal in 1960s
San Francisco. She traveled to China in 1971 and discovered
the cloisonné technique that would define her career. The
"Moondoves" design — paired birds in flight — appeared in
multiple formats during the 1980s and is one of the most
recognizable pieces in her catalog. Vintage cloisonné
production was discontinued, making these originals
increasingly sought after.
