A vintage Chinese-style link bracelet of six curved nephrite jade bars, each capped in silver and joined by decorative links, finishing in a pierced openwork medallion clasp with a figure-eight safety chain.
The jade is a natural nephrite showing a deep spinach green with softer translucent passages and fine natural mottling when held to the light. The link panels holding the jade are marked SILVER; the fine safety chain at the clasp is a separate base-metal chain.
This style of jade-and-silver bracelet was widely produced for export through the mid-twentieth century and remains a classic of its kind, easy to wear and pleasant on the wrist.
Condition: good vintage. All six jade bars are sound and bright, the links and clasp function smoothly, and the safety chain is intact. Light surface wear consistent with age.
