A pair of Zuni sterling silver dangle earrings with channel-inlay turquoise in an open teardrop form. Each drop is set with hand-cut turquoise pieces fitted into thin sterling channels, radiating around an openwork center — a technique long associated with Zuni lapidary work. Both earrings are marked STERLING on the reverse, together with the artisan's "RL" hallmark. They hang from sterling French hook ear wires. The turquoise shows a soft blue-green color with natural variation between the inlaid segments. The channel work is neatly fitted, with the silver dividing lines crisp and even across both drops. The reverse carries a natural age patina to the silver, consistent with a vintage piece; this can be gently polished if a brighter finish is preferred. No cracks, no missing or lifted inlay, and no chips to the stones were found. Condition: very good vintage. Sound inlay, intact ear wires, and clear hallmarks.
